Westlake Construction Services expands upon this tradition of excellence with its own reputation in the U.S. hospitality industry.   HOTEL RENOVATIONS  As a general contractor, Westlake's function is to coordinate the physical renovation of your hotel. We have previously worked on numerous projects with our team of speciality contractor and sub contractors including paint, flooring, carpentry, and many other speciality trade groups and have been met with loyalty and cooperation. We may select our subcontractors through competitive bidding or negotiated contracts; however this is normally reserved for licensed trades. We cultivate a relationship with our labor force so that each successive project yields improved results.  For projects of moderate size and complexity, the owner often engages a designer, architect and or engineering firm to prepare details plans and specifications for us. We can also provide all of these services through our independent design teams ready to go to work on your specific project. Just let us know. On many projects the owner will appoint a manager to act on his behalf to oversee the project during construction.
